How Hookmill keeps generated ads truthful

The fastest way to make an ad look convincing is to make something up. A crisp number, a five-star quote, a bold superlative. It also happens to be the fastest way to get your account flagged and your brand embarrassed. We built Hookmill so that the easy path is the honest one.

Claims come from you, not the model

When you set up a brand, you list what is actually true about the product. Ships in 24 hours. Fragrance-free. Free 14-day trial. The concept generator is instructed to make claims only from that list and the one-line product description. If a fact is not there, the ad does not assert it.

What the model is told never to do

  • Invent statistics, results, rankings, or awards.
  • Write testimonials or quotes attributed to real or made-up people.
  • Use sensational or shocking claims that break platform ad policies.
  • Promise outcomes the product cannot honestly stand behind.

This is a product stance, not a legal disclaimer. It means Hookmill is sometimes less punchy than a tool that will happily fabricate. We think that is the right trade for anyone who has to live with the brand afterward.

You are still the editor

Every concept is a draft you review, edit, and approve before it runs. The guardrail keeps the starting point honest. You keep the final say.
